He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Brown and Irena Brown (Jacob); and his siblings, Barbara Schinderling, Robert, Donald and Terrill.
He is survived by: his children, Lee (Jamie) and Gina Christenson (Cody) of Chester; his wife Karen; his grandchildren, Travis and Allison of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Dennis Brown (Melanie) of Sioux Falls, Debra Combs (Rodney) of De Smet, Cheryl Brown of Sioux Falls, Ronald Brown (Judy) of Lake Preston, Roger Brown (Linda) of Howard and Robyn Swazo of Colorado; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Brown of De Smet, Marsha Brown of De Smet, Nancy Brown of Huron, Sue Brown of Huron, Janet Schinderling of Huron and Mahlon Schinderling of Watertown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be directed the Kidney Foundation.
