He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clarence, Edna Stock and Margaret Kerrin; and his father Louis Karlen II. He is survived by: his parent Betty Karlen (Stock); his spouse Joan LaBore; his children, Jesselyn Seaton (Jake) and Justin Karlen; his siblings, Johnny Karlen (Pam) of Howard, Debbie Beck (Larry), Trey Karlen (Jenni) and De Smet; and his nieces and nephews, Cory, Cristy, April, Angela, Becky and Billy. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
