Leola touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul B. Hofer and Olive Hofer (Walker); her husband Herman; her siblings, Rachel Hofer, Deloris Wollmann, Alma Rames, Harland, Harold, Elmer, Maurice, Dennis and Donavon; and her niece Mona Hansen (Rames).

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Phyllis Kirschenman (Ronald). She is also survived by family and Leola's many friends.

“I have so many wonderful memories of Leola, from baking and puzzles to talking about our favorite farm cats. We met when she and my mother lived in assisted living in Viborg. My mother and her became became fast friends, we exchanged holiday cards and always enjoyed visiting. I remember when she was determined to win the publishers clearing house sweep stakes! I think she has with our Heavenly Father ! I will miss her. Karen Kirkebak ( daughter of Marie Nelson)”
