He is survived by: his wife Theresa Slaba of Dante; his son Jared Kocer (Becky) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Joel Kocer (Courtney Stegenga) of Valley Springs, Danica of Sioux Falls, Luke of Sioux Falls and Landon Kocer of Sioux Falls; his son John Kocer (Carrie) of Wood; his grandchildren, Dacey (Cohl Turnquist) of Flandreau, Gabriel Kocer and Browdy Kocer of Wood; his daughter Janelle Kozak (Brian) of Tyndall; his grandchildren, Karlee Hallock (Hunter) of Yankton, Kaden of Tyndall, Karsten of Tyndall and Kenadee Kozak of Tyndall; his brother Leo Kocer of Dante; and his siblings-in-law, Karon Kocer of Yankton, David Slaba (Pat) of Geddes and Angie Steckley (Dick) of Geddes. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
