She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Scott Gerkin; her brother Thane Treptow; her sister-in-law Caroline Treptow; her nephew Brian Treptow; and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Gerkin and Jim Gerkin.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Thomas Gerkin (Shelly) of Jefferson, SD and Craig Alan Gerkin (Kim) of Burnsville, MN; her brother Richard L. Treptow (Linda Sue); and her grandchildren, Shane Gerkin, Steffanie Sada (John), Adam Gerkin (Beata) and Chad Gerkin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
