Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Larry Countryman of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 73, on August 14, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Countryman of Moville, IA and Edna Neer Countryman of Lexington, Missouri.; his brother Robert Countryman; his brother-in-law Ronald Bower; his father-in-law Harold Sharp; and his brother-in-law Brandan Sharp.
He is survived by: his children, Christen and Katie; his former wife Diana Sharp; his wife Diane; his children, Kelly Countryman of Moville, IA, Chris, Jodi Countryman of Moville, IA and Jess Bender of Winterset, IA; his stepson Aaron Heiden of Omaha, NE; his siblings, Darlene Bower of Kansas City, MO, Pam, Mike Weaver and Bonnie Countryman of Moville, IA; his mother-in-law Molly Sharp of Ralston, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Loudean Sharp of Bryan, TX, Melody, Rusty Dobbs of Cleveland, TX and Tiffany Glennie of Missouri Valley, IA.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was looking forward to attending live NFL games in Las Vegas during retirement (especially watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers) but the 2020 NFL restrictions due to the pandemic delayed his live attendance ambitions.
