She is survived by: her parents, Shannon Hughes and Missy Hughes; her siblings, Aly (Koel Radtke) and Ryan Hughes of Dakota Dunes, SD; her pet Zoey; her grandparents, Dee Dee Hughes, Duane and Linda Quinn; her aunt Roni Engeldinger (Rich); her cousin Miranda; her aunt Mandy Wagner (Justin); her cousins, Taylor, Brady and Carter; her aunt Danielle Quinn; her cousins, Tyler, Caden and Josie; her aunt Kris Gauthier (Tom); her cousins, Carson and Grant; her uncle Jay Vogel; her cousin Anthony Hommes (Amanda); and also Ziggy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Sunnybrook Community Church (5601 Sunnybrook Dr, Sioux City, IA 51106). A prayer was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karlee's memory can be made to the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa, Camp High Hopes and New Stage Players Penguin Project.
