He is survived by: his wife Diana Stewart of Custer; his children, Sara Roos (Paul) of Rapid City, Roxanne Barton of Hot Springs, Allison Kadrmas (Douglas) of Dickinson, David Hernandez (Shelby) of Belle Fourche and Daniel Zelaya of Custer; his grandchildren, Grace, Marcus, Frank, Mackenzie, Chase, Chloe, Memoree, Jaxson and Connor; and his brother Samuel Stewart (Chris).
