He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hanson and Alvina Hanson (Grosz); and his daughters, Jean Hanson and Barbara Haugen. He is survived by: his wife Ione; and his children, Violet Hanson, Kathleen Meeham (Sean), Sophie Hanson, Alan Hanson, Melissa Steinhouse (Terry) and Cindy Swanson (Eric). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
