He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hammer and Irene Hammer (Aubert); his son-in-law Curtis; and his siblings, Evelyn, Leona Harding (Don), Norma Jean Bennett (Dale), Joseph Hammer (Delores), Ernest Hammer (Mildred) and Eugene Hammer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Hammer (Larson) of Custer; his pet Kelsey; his children, Debra Jensen (Curtis) of Rapid City, Robert Hammer (Gloria) of Ft Collins, CO and Jeannette Pacheco (Ernest) of Custer, SD; his grandchildren, Amber Hageman of Fairbanks, AK and Justin Hammer (Katie) of Rapid City; and his son Steven. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
