He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramie Lawrence Hunter and Zelma Baisden Hunter; his siblings, Henry Hunter, Heschel "Doc" Hunter, Roberta Harbison, Harry Franklin Hunter and Virginia Sue Maison; and his children, Phillip Lee Hunter and Shelia Rae Hunter.
He is survived by: his brothers, Herman Hunter of Mason, OH and Homer Hunter of Stony Bottom, WV.; and his wife Carolyn Ruth Reese. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
