She is survived by: her stepsiblings, Ed Cates (Lee), Sharon Cates Rovella, Terry Cates Gregson, David Cates, Sharyl Cates Thorson, Perry Cates and Loretta Cates Patton; and her half-sister Barbara Walker Gonzales. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand-nephews.
