He was predeceased by: his parents, George Morris and Dorothy Morris (Long); his siblings, John Morris, Melvin Morris, Dora Morris and Viola Rose Morris; and his great-nephew Mike Morris.

He is survived by: his siblings, Judy Pond of Custer and Ralph Morris; his nieces and nephews, Dana Kresch of Custer, Myrna Wegner, Bert Pond of Custer, Wayne Pond of Nunda, SD, Richard Morris of Box Elder, SD, Justin Morris, Travis Morris and Alex Morris; his great-nephew Chad Pond of Rapid City, SD; his great-nieces, Amanda O'Connor of Custer and Shanna Fischer of Custer; his great-nephews, Ethan O'Connor of Custer and Eli O'Connor of Custer; and also Austyn Fisher of Custer.
