He is survived by: his parents, Jack Lampert and Dorothy Lampert (Patten); his children, David Jay Lampert (Jillian) of St Paul, MN, Shawn Hill (Tate) of Phoenix, AZ and Nicole Anderson (Matthew) of Custer; his brothers, Jerry Lampert of Bonita, CO, Phil Lampert of Custer and Robert Lampert of Cheyenne, WY; his grandchildren, Abigail, Loden, Maija, Andrew, Chelsea, Cameron and Kyler Sophia; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Chrissy, Hayley and LeAnna; his fiancé Chrissy Whitney; and his pets, Tina and Millie.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Dave 'Dakota' Lampert's name to benefit the Black Hills Playhouse, 24834 S. Playhouse Rd, Custer, SD 57730 or the Cold Springs Historical Society, PO Box 7, Pringle, SD 57773.
