It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia Smith of Custer, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on October 28, 2020, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ronald E. Wheeler. She is survived by: her mother Deloris J. Tisler (Nelson); her husband Darcy D. Smith of Custer; her children, Samuel W. Smith, Tabihta E. Austin (Smith) and David R. Smith; her brothers, Jim Wheeler of Byron and Leonard Wheeler of Glendale, AZ; and her half-siblings, R. J. Wheeler and Opal Wheeler of Belle Fourche, SD. She is also survived by many aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.
