He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Simon and Hallie Carlson (Pond). He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sons, Mike Carlson (Sue), Patrick Carlson (Sharon), Kelly Carlson (Pam) and Dick Carlson (Christine); and his siblings, John Henry Carlson, Charlie Carlson and Sandy Petrick. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
