He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Swartz and Anna Swartz (Wiitala); his wife Carol (Bland) of Custer, SD; his brother Wally Swartz of Spearfish, SD; his sons, John McLaughlin (Lesia) of Rapid City, SD and Ray McLaughlin (Dawn) of Custer, SD.; his grandchildren, Colton McLaughlin (Julie) of Gillette, WY, Cody McLaughlin of Custer, SD, Klacy Domina (Cody) of Edgemont, SD and Kendra Michel (Jason) of Harrisburg, SD; and his great grandchildren, Kinsley McLaughlin and Raelynn Domina.
