He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrianus Kuyper and Johanna Kuyper (Vanden Bos); his siblings, Lena (Case Vander Wal), John (Margaret Kuyper), Evelyn (Marvin Scholten), Ernest (Harriet Kuyper) and Margaret (Stanley Hoekman); and his son-in-law Thomas Vander Pol.
He is survived by: his adoptive children, Randall and Renae; his wife Jean Kuyper of Corsica, SD; and his children, Connie Kuyper of Stickney, SD and Aaron Timmermans of Harrison, SD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
