It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta Rus (Corsica, South Dakota), who passed away on March 25, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her children, Jeanette Johnson (Marlin) and Lerry Rus; her sons-in-law, John Van Voorst and Norman Vanden Hoek; her grandson Jeremy Rus; her great great grandchild Peyton Ymker; her siblings, John Van Voorst (Tillie), Rich Van Voorst, Gerrit Van Voorst (Jo), Minnie Van Bochove (William), Gertrude Van Beek (Hank) and Priscilla Dibbet; and her siblings-in-law, John Bakker and Freda Van Voorst.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Rus (Marcia) of Corsica, Arlene Vanden Hoek of Plankinton, SD and Jack Rus; her friends, Cheryl Voorst of Corsica and Arlyn Rus of Rock Valley, IA; and also, Shirley Van Voorst and Arnie Rus (Wanda) of Chamberlain, SD.
