He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Vries and Marles De Vries (Knock); his former wife Harriet De Vries; and his siblings, LeAnn Tatro and Leland De Vries.
He is survived by: his former wife Harriet Vink; his wife Mildred De Vries of Summerset; his children, Deanna Reiff (Scott), Jon De Vries (Susie), David De Vries (Brandon) and Harold De Vries (Madison); his siblings, Laurna Gustafson (Rick) of Colorado Springs, CO, Larry De Vries (Sandy) of Lennox, SD and Lorraine Van Geest (Dan) of Inwood, IA; his sister-in-law Shirley De Vries of Davis, SD; and his siblings, Linda Thompson (Terry) of Holman, WI, Lena Sanderson (Tom) of Rapid City, SD, Lorretta Lang (Ken) of Maplewood, MN, Lorin De Vries (Melonie) of Lennox, SD and Leota Olsen (Dave) of Fairview, SD. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
