Leroy Allen Van Liere Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2020, at the age of 80, Leroy Allen Van Liere of Colton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Liere and Dena Van Liere (Van Hunnik); his sons, Mark and Terry; his grandson-in-law Sam Burtnett; and his siblings, Melvin, Adrian, John and Julie Swier.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Van Dyk; his sons, Doug Van Liere (Bridget), Madison and Mike Van Liere (Wendy); his grandchildren, Jocelyn Burtnett, Kamie Wittrock (Brock), Marcus Van Liere, Brenna Van Liere, Lexie Van Liere, Emily Van Liere and Gerrit Van Liere; his great grandchildren, Amery, Dayton Burtnett, Ivy and Iris Wittrock; his brother Lowell Van Liere (June); and his sisters-in-law, Helen Van Liere and Esther Van Liere.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dells Nursing and Rehab Center in Dell Rapids.
