He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Salonen and Hilma Salonen (Halonen); his daughter Leigh Michele; and his siblings, Les, Willard, Vern, Gordie, Geneva and Ivadelle.
He is survived by: his wife J. Charmane Olson; his sons, Richard (Bonnie), Timothy (Patricia) and Brian (Ruth); his grandchildren, Nancy, Nicole, Bradley, Leeann, Austin, April, Anjani and Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Owen, Ryder, Griffin, Annabelle, Jonas, Jack, Oona, Nora, Liam, Lucy, Hattie, Henry, Oliver, Everly, Timothy, Nathaniel, Juliette, Kellen and Clayton.
