It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Broghammer (Colman, South Dakota), born in Dell Rapids, South Dakota, who passed away on April 23, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Victor and Anna M. Broghammer (Wallace); his son Terry; and his siblings, Chuck and Carmel.
He is survived by: his child Donald; his wife Pat; his children, Roger (Shelly), Colman, Doug (Kim), Don (Christine), Sharon Broghammer of Mitchell, SD and Bruce Heyer (Valerie) of Andover, MN; and his siblings, Robert Broghammer (Dorothy), JoAnn Carpenter, Phyllis Conway (Jack), Mary Votek (Stan), Clare Fink, Steve Broghammer (Judy) and Georgia Race (Bob). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
