With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erlis Violet Nelson of Colman, South Dakota, born in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Christensen and Violet Christensen (Olsen); her husband Carroll Nelson; her sisters, Delores Anderson and Phyllis Bergdale; and her sister-in-law Barb Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Hannasch (Ken) of Colman, SD, Vince Nelson (Jeri) of Colman, SD and Diane LeBrun (Dennis) of Dell Rapids, SD; her sister Pauline Nelson (Eldon); her sister-in-law Jean Kenison; and her grandchildren, Bethany, Caitlin, Dalton, Jenny, Sarah, Paige, Matt, Jeff, Kirk and Lexie. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
