He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe and Irene; and his siblings, Jim, Joe, Tom, Marilyn and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his daughters, LeAnn Nelson (Brent) and Jamie LeBrun (Tom); his grandchildren, Dusty LeBrun (Jenny), Hailey Krause (David), Tanner Nelson (Jenna) and Alex Nelson (Emily); and his siblings, Rita, Rose, Eileen, Elaine, Dick, Dan and Theresa. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
