She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Holt and Minnie Van Holt (Schaefer); her husband Ellis Stroschein; her sister Elta Kurtz; and her grandson Ryan Stroschein.
She is survived by: her children, Clarice Uckert (Joseph) of Clear Lake, SD and Randy Stroschein (Donna); her grandchildren, Holly (Jerry Martinmaas), Debra Tanner (Jason), Richard Uckert (Jessica), Sara Olson (Jeff), Kathryn Rasmus (Ryan), Patrick Uckert (Andrea), Christopher Uckert (Courtnie) and Angela VanHofwegen (Travis); and her brother-in-law Vernon Stroschein (Shirley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
