He was predeceased by: his wife Karin Gaede; his parents-in-law, George and Ethel Gaede; his siblings-in-law, Luverne Gaede, Gladys Dahlgren (Herb), Cleo Olerud, Ardith Nieman (Bernard), Marvel Dumke (Jerry) and Shirley Severson; and his nephew Randy Klavetter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Micha Armitage and Shawna Porter (Brian) of Brooklyn Park, MN; his grandchildren, Trent Armitage (Courtney Johnson), Taylor Kor (AJ), Caden and Aisley Porter of Brooklyn Park, MN; his great grandchildren, Kira and Bentlee Kor; his siblings, LaVonne Severson (Loren) and Clinton Severson of Clear Lake; and his parents-in-law, Arlene Klavetter (LeRoy), Dorla Thiele (Terry) of Maple Grove, MN and Ole Olerud. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
