He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Hamann and Amelia Hamann (Winterfeld); his wives, Maroa and Larraine; his siblings, Albert "Bud", Donald Hamann and Velma Pemberton; and his son Lonnie Hamann.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Hamann, Julius Hamann (Jody) and Irene Hamann; his stepchildren, Cheryl Linder (Jerry) of Bloomington, MN, Garry Dumke (Eloise Redlin) and Clear Lake; and his siblings, Herbert Hamann (Bev) and Hilda Faber. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
