He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Forest and Nancy Forest (Clemons); his wife Doris Brenden; his granddaughter Christi Anna Forest; and his siblings, Dale (Joyce Forest) and Gladys (Burton Bethke).
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Jean (Richard), Terry Forest (Sue) and Randy Forest (Mary). He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
