She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd Harper and Grace Harper (Lee); her husband Louis J. Wirkus; and her sons, Stephen, Daniel and David.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Helkenn (Mike) of Raymond, Margie Wirkus of Clark, Bob (Sandy) of Summerset, Tom (Kim) of Clark, Ed, Harley (Julie) of Rapid City, Kevin (Mindy) of Lake Poinsett and Jeff (Shari) of Watertown; and her brother Don Harper (Betty) of Watertown. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
