The memory of Ila Mae Florey of Clark, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Christensen and Rose Christensen (Petersen); her sister Maxine Florey (Francis); and her children-in-law, David Schweitzer and Linda Florey.
She is survived by: her child Fay; her husband Fay of Clark; her children, Michael Florey (Melody) of Watertown, Robin Schweitzer of Clark, Dawn Stee (Bryon) of Watertown, David Florey (Dawn) of Sioux Falls and Paul Florey (Kris) of Clark; and her grandchildren, Sara Florey, John Florey (Londa), Josh Florey (Kaitlyn), Shawn Schweitzer, Melissa Christoffer (Josiah), Dan Stee (Emily), Brianna Kooima (Alek), Brandon Florey (Rena Nietfeld), Gannon Florey (Lindsey), Rhett Florey, Raegan Karber (Jess) and Grayson Florey. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (301 S Smith St, Clark, SD 57225). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
