He was predeceased by: his parents, Vesta Blanch Dally and Peder Daniel Valberg; his wife Mavis Valberg; his son Larry Hartman; his grandson Lance Mohr; his great grandchild Isla Hartman; his siblings, Harold Valberg (Marlys), Doris Sollin and Deloris Springer; and his niece Kimberly Springer.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Valberg (Lori), Roxanne McElhany (Tim) of Watertown, Shari Hartman of Silver Spring, MD, Darrell Hartman (Debbie) of Redfield, Cliff Hartman (Dawn Kendrick) of Bradley and Jan Solum (Steve) of Watertown; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Sollin and Jim Springer. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Watertown Senior Center, Jenkins Living Center, Prairie Hill Cemetery or Larry F. Hartman Legion Post 108 in Bradley.
