It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Helkenn (Clark, South Dakota), who passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gene Helkenn to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Helkenn and LaVerne Helkenn (Kruthoff); his siblings, Wayne, Norman, Arlyn (Um) and Patsy Wallum; and his sister-in-law Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Eneboe; his sons, Randy (Andrea) and Ryan (Heather); his grandchildren, Zoey, Callie, Austin (Marisa), Alexa and Breanna; his siblings, Dale Helkenn (Lavonne) and Butch Helkenn (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Helkenn, Roma Nelson, Virginia Schmunk (Lee) and Allen Eneboe (Brenda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
