He was predeceased by: his parents, Albinus "Ollie" Heer and Mary Heer (Wehland); and his siblings, Cecilia Terpstra, Mary Lucy Stahl, Anna Mary Heer, John Heer, Agnes Gereaux, Alice Heer, Clara Heer, Anastasia and Lucy.
He is survived by: his sister Teresa Bau of Frankfort. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
After Alice passed, he continued to raise chickens and donate eggs until he was physically unable to do it any longer.
