She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hines and Esther Hines; her husband Joe Engelkes; her siblings, Charles, Leonard, Larry, Howard Hines, Darlene Hines and Brenda Jones; her siblings-in-law, Orville Schlenker and Doris Hines; and her friends, Dorcas Pederson and Dena Neville.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Engelkes of Chester, Susie Dold (John) of Chester, Joseph Engelkes (Peggy) of Chester and Jim Engelkes of Colman; her pet Precious; her siblings, Duane Hines (Lavonne) of Wessington Springs, Don Hines (Mary), Elaine Schlenker of Lane, Shirley Hines of Lane and Donna Gray (Ed) of Lane; her siblings-in-law, Vicki Hines of Woonsocket and Larry Jones of Lane; her grandchildren, Johnny Jungen (Alex), Alison Jungen, Tracy Engelkes, Raelynn Engelkes, Andrew Dold, Bradley Dold, Zachary Dold and Kimberly Engelkes; and her great grandchildren, Lakota and Vayden.
