He is survived by: his wife Audrey Bunde; his children, Angie Bies (Randy), Amy Lofland (Eddie), Kathy Austin (Kent) and Landon Poppens; his grandchildren, Adam Bies (Chelsea), Danin Schiller (Cameron), Kaitlin Lofland, Brandon Lofland (Morgan), Austin Lofland (Kalie), Evan Lofland (Olivia), Becca Noyes (Jared), Nicole Sikkink (Taylor), Emily Steadman, Alec Austin and Mandy Kolthoff (Robert); and his brother Lloyd Poppens (Gloria). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Germantown Presbyterian Church (27400 462nd Ave, Chancellor, SD 57015). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Germantown Cemetery.
