He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ferdinand Meier and Millie Meier (Bessler); his wife Jean Wetteland; his sons, Richard Meier, Sioux Falls and Phil Meier (Christie); his grandchildren, Erin Karlgaard (Matthew), Benjamin, Elijah, Emily Meier (Brent Langston) and Paige Meier; and his great grandchildren, Seth Meier (Holly), Clara, Anna Svennungsen (Kyle), Odin, Espen, Anders Meier (Molly), Penny and Trygre. He was also cherished by one brother and two sisters, as well as other relatives and friends.
