We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2024, at the age of 93, Darlene Friese of Chancellor, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeVries and Ella DeVries (Hildebrands); her husband Harold W. Friese; and her siblings, Marie Plucker, Elizabeth Hagena, Evelyn Symens, Andrew DeVries, Eddie DeVries and Merlin DeVries.
She is survived by: her children, Darold Friese (Shelly), LaNeil Bartell (Darrel), Gayla Wipf (Jim), David Friese (Mitzi) and Shelly Hansen (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jessica Aguirre (Eric), Amanda Bruender (Kyle), Landon Friese (Cassie), Emily Wipf, Katie Wipf, Kali Kjose (Hunter), Zach Wipf, Ariel Gilsdorf (Joey), Josh Friese (Karlee), Tessa Friese, Connor Brown (Logan), Madison Hansen and Peyton Hansen; her great grandchildren, Jacob Aguirre, Andrew Aguirre, Norah Aguirre, Olivia Aguirre, Easton Bruender, Kayden Bruender, Lily Friese, Liam Friese, Lyla Friese, Weston Kjose, Ellie Gilsdorf, Laken Gilsdorf, Kohen Friese, Jovee Friese, Larek Brown and Layna Brown; and her close friend Annis Mechels.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may directed to the Union Gospel Mission, Sioux Falls or Gideon's International.
