He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hansen and Beatrice Hansen (Thompson); his father-in-law Joe Birchfield; his son-in-law Ron Muth; his brothers, Harvey and Billy Hendershot; and his brother-in-law Lawrence Pickner.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry of Oacoma; his children, Angela Oliver of Chamberlain, Nichole Muth of Sioux Falls, Melissa Chmela (Wes) of Oacoma and Bill Hansen (Blair) of Chamberlain; his grandchildren, Ryan Geraets of Harrisburg, Stephanie, Brandon Geraets of Dells Rapids, Kordel, Jayd, Lyza Chmela of Oacoma, Chase and Hatcher Hansen of Chamberlain; his siblings, Harlan Hendershot (Freda) of Gillette, WY, Wanda Pickner of Oacoma and Neil Hansen (Dawn) of Cheyenne, WY; and his mother-in-law Eva Birchfield of Oacoma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
