He was predeceased by: his father Robert Marshall Sr.; his stepfather Harold "Curly" Miller (Curly); his grandparents, June Lambert Sazue and William Bill Sazue Sr.; his uncles, Harley Sazue Sr. and William Bill Sazue Sr.; his siblings, Steven Charles Miller and Pamela Miller; his nephews, Jared Jordan Marshall and Raymond Cole Gonzales III; his stepdaughters, Marinda Garcis-Huix and Rayona Battese; and his uncle Clifford "Cliff" Marshall.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy K. Sazue-Miller of Fort Thompson; his sister Pam; his uncle Jerry; his grandchildren, Jaimee Estes, Tayshawn Battese and Hillary Goodlow; his wife Lucille "Sud'z" Skunk of Lower Brule; his siblings, Charlotte Gonzales, Roseanna Langdeau of Fort Thompson, Bobbie Anne Marshall of Mission, Denise Marshall of Gregory, Brian Harrison of Fort Thompson, Grey Jones of Rapid City, Robert Marshall Jr., Waylon Marshall of Mission, Dean Miller, Lyle Miller Sr. of Mitchell and Robert Miller of Lake Andes; his stepchildren, Joelle Battese, June Battese, Camille Battese, Philip Battese and Vincent Battese; his uncles, Brent, Joe Sr. and Tracy Sazue; and his godmother Sandra Swift Eagle.
