He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Schomp and Edyth Schomp. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schomp; his children, Judd Schomp, Thad Schomp (Devan) and Brooke Moeller (Doug); his grandchildren, Hadley, Sadie of Martin, SD, Dailynn, Josclynn, Hayes of Elkton, SD and Berkeley of Pukwana, SD; and his brother Ben Schomp (Nancy) of Hershey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Chapel (215 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Christ (101 N Merrill St, Chamberlain, SD 57325).
