It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney James Fuegen of Chamberlain, South Dakota, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father David Fuegen; his siblings, Mary Sue Fuegen and Lance Fuegen; and his grandparents, John, Cynthia Fuegen, Frederick and Rosella Grohs.
He is survived by: his mother Deloris Fuegen (Grohs) of Wessington Springs; his brothers, Allen Fuegen of Gann Valley, Patrick Fuegen (Patty) of Redfield and Jeff Fuegen (Michele) of Gann Valley; and his sister-in-law Heidi Linngren of Rapid City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He loved going to basketball games and any other sporting events that were going on in Chamberlain, and when COVID kept his house often locked down, they would watch the high school sporting activities on zoom.
