With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard B. Lloyd of Chamberlain, South Dakota, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Richard find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lloyd and Gladys Lloyd (Hampton); his brother Jim Lloyd; and his grandsons, Preston and Richard Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Lloyd; his children, Nancy Gordon, Rick Lloyd (Charlene Mellot) and Deb Washburn (Todd); and his sisters, Mary Gab and Merle Foreman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (902 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
