She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Aljets and Minnie Aljets (Feeken); her husband Harold L. "Butch" Gunter Sr.; her son Harold L. "Butchie" Gunter Jr.; her son-in-law Russ Stethem; her grandchildren, Raymond Russell Gunter and Jamie Leigh Brown; and her siblings, Fritz, Henry "Hank", Raymond Aljets, Marie Clark and Darlene Aljets.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Gunter (Karen), Gary Gunter of Chamberlain, SD, Dan Gunter (Liz) and Vicki Stethem of Chamberlain, SD; her sister Minnie Axtell; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Aljets of Brandon, SD and Etoyle Aljets of Valley Springs, SD.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
