He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Sr. Carlson and Emma Carlson (Welfl); his wife Alice Frank; and his siblings, Everett, Carl, Harlan, Bobby and Marilyn Craig.
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Carlson (Muriel) of Chamberlain, SD, Rick Carlson (Cheri) of Kansasville, WI and Lowell Jr. Carlson (Celia) of Rapid City, SD; his grandchildren, Robin Felt (Zered) of Washington, DC, Phil Carlson (Ariana) of Oacoma, SD, Samantha Carlson of Wisconsin, Bryant Carlson of Wisconsin and Anja Carlson of Rapid City, SD; and his siblings, Lloyd Carlson Jr. (Marlene) of Rayville, MO, Emily Larson (Keith) of Yankton, SD and JoAnn Tieken of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his granddogs.
