She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thompson and Wilhelmina "Minnie" Thompson (Swanson); her husband Walter F. Bode; her siblings, Avery, Milden, Normand and Lucille Fick; her siblings-in-law, Glenda, Eleanor, Doris, Raymond Fick and Lewis Mosemann; and her daughter-in-law Christine "Chris" Bode (Comegys).
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Anderson (Ken) of Chamberlain, Loren Bode (Julie) of Pukwana, Lyle Bode (Brenda) of Mt Vernon, Steven Bode of Plano, TX, Jeanette Gibbons (Bill) of Brookings and Carl Bode (Nancy) of Plankinton; and her sister Lorraine Mosemann of White Lake. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
