With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVaun Holan of Chamberlain, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Holan and Evalyn Holan (Janik); his wife Ruth Ann Thaler of Margaret's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Dennis, Lynette Leiferman and Nelda Jean Holan.
He is survived by: his children, Rochelle Yost (Dana), Roxanne Sipes (Troy) of Mitchell, SD, Waylon Holan (Stacy) of Burkburnett, TX and Jodi Lefort (Bill) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Jessica, Derick, Tyler, Kayce, Aaron, Shelby, Molly, Maverick, Lucas, Wylie and Marisa; his great grandchildren, Ellisa, Isabell, Micah, Eden, Hazley, Finley, Miriam, Charlotte, Nova, Rowdy and Rhett; his grandchild Cinnamon; and his children, Skippy, Browne and Duke.
