It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmie Calder (Chamberlain, South Dakota), born in Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice Glenn Calder; his daughter Mina Babette Calder; and his grandson Robert Steven Calder. He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Viola Calder, Rosemary Hall, Robert George Calder and John Joseph Calder; and his children, Rose Jean Calder Moon, Joseph Michael Calder, Arthur Richard Calder, Marc George Calder and John Paul Calder. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and his four great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph's Indian School 1301 N Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
