He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Reuer and Martha Reuer (Wagaman); his children, Jelene (Rick Rand) and Kathy Reuer; and his brother Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Elva Jean Nash; his children, Leroy Reuer and Marlys Schlomer (Cordie) of Presho; and his grandchildren, Matt Reuer, Dan Reuer, Eric Reuer, Becky Hanson, Brittnie Ainsworth, Jamie Griffith, Stacie Totzke and Abby Bacon. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
