It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alta L. Cable (Chamberlain, South Dakota), born in Winner, South Dakota, who passed away on January 1, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Clarence and Onalee House Larsen; her mother-in-law Agnes Benson Cable Creamer; her brother Dean; her sister-in-law Gertie Larsen; her sister Marian Truman; her nieces, Loretta Miller and Jimmi Rose Cable; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Kakela and Charlie Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Booth Cable III; her children, Russell of Seguin, TX, Steven (Cindy) of Sioux Falls and Michelle (Wilson Stevens) of Goldsboro, NC; her sister Mavis Hansen (Richard) of Reliance; her siblings-in-law, Harley Cable (Dawn) of Pukwana, Linda Kakela, Barbara Williams of Steamboat Springs, CO and Sharon Caslin (Wade) of Chino Valley, AZ; and her grandchildren, Tessa, Lacey, Russell, Cassie, Matt, Jared, Racquel, Samantha and Danielle. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed for the Alzheimer's Research Fund, the Shriner's Children's Hospital, or Roam Free Park overlooking the Missouri River at Chamberlain.
